The Depot at Santiago, a controversial new development adjacent to the Santiago Street Lofts, is a 70 unit affordable housing rental property with approximately 8,000 Sq' set aside for some very, very much needed retail.

The popular, and affordable, Santiago Street Lofts are about 8 blocks Northeast of Downtown Santa Ana and the Santa Ana Artist Village and there's little to no retail nearby the project.  When the Santiago Street Lofts were originally developed buyers were sold on a grand plan, named the Station District, to completely revamp the surrounding area and especially along E Santa Ana Blvd, which would connect Santa Ana's Train Depot with Downtown Santa Ana.

933 E Santa Ana Blvd just chopped it's price from $451,000 to $415,000 after 68 days on the market.  This is a bank owned property and does come with some work that many buyers will want to immediately address.  It's now priced well and should attract a serious offer soon.
