Around 2004, the Department of Defense had published a study stating "geothermal water" is abundant in the area. This was just  prior the DOD building geothermal energy conversion plants at the nearby USMC 29Palms base (approximately 4 miles to the NW). DOD report can be found under public information on-line. Lot has a gentle slow down to wash and property line ends in about the middle of the wash. Wash does have rain runoff in rainy season. Parcel to immediate west is GOVT land (5ac) Lot at end of rd (approx 165 to east) is also GOVT Land. BTW, I have actually seen CA Desert Tortoise on the land. * No assigned street address number.
